New to the Formenti lineup in 2019 is the Interceptor, a 22 ½ foot hull design that is striking in its uniqueness. All Interceptor boats are produced in Europe in one of the World’s most advanced factories. The hull design and fabrication are the result of a proven team; Carlos Vidal and Francesco Ambrosini. This new design offers significant innovation with its Orcathane® tubes. An extremely durable material, Orcathane® is a TPU-coated fabric designed for use on military and professional watercraft. Zar Formenti is the World’s first pleasure boat manufacturer to use this weldable, generally superior abrasion resistant and temperature tolerant (low) fabric.

As is standard with Zar RIBs, the aluminum hull is powder coated and engineered here to be the perfect balance between weight and durability. In addition to its structural integrity, the deep “V” Interceptor was also designed for seaworthiness and speed. The Interceptor comes equipped with a self -draining spacious cockpit, bow locker, a double console and leaning seat, swim platforms , stand up seating, EVA teak flooring, Silvertene® cushions, a bow plate and a navigation arch with horn and lights.
